Use text blocks

You can use text blocks both for Amazon product descriptions and e-mail to avoid repeatedly typing the same text. On the other hand, text blocks make entry easy, efficient, and without error.

Text editor with text blocks

In the upper part of the text editor, you will see the text that you intend to use in product descriptions or e-mails. You can edit the text manually or select text blocks from the list below.

Create text blocks

As you open the text editor for the first time, the text block list appears empty. Therefore, you should first add frequently used texts as text blocks. You can always add new text blocks as needed.

Text blocks are divided into categories. To that end, click first on New Category and enter the name of the category in the list. Press the Enter Key, if the entered name is correct.

Then click on New Text and enter the text block content. A text block can be up to 200 characters long.

You can change the order of categories or text blocks at any time. Click on the category or the text block and drag the category or text block without releasing to the new location where you will release the mouse button.

Import text blocks

Click on Import to import text blocks from a tab-delimited text file. The first column of the text file contains the category and the second column the text.

Include text blocks in text

To insert a text block at the current location of an edited text, double-click the text block in the list or select the text block and click Select. If necessary, Total Seller automatically adds blank spaces around inserted text blocks.

Check spelling

As you type or paste text blocks, Total Seller automatically checks their spelling. Spelling errors are underlined in red. Click on the misspelled word with the right mouse button to bring up the context menu. Choose from the suggestions presented. In addition, you can add to the dictionary any correctly spelled words appearing as errors.

Tip: If you regularly use abbreviations that are not in the dictionary, add them to the dictionary so they will not appear as errors thereafter.

Note: The dictionary is stored on the local computer. If you are using Total Seller with multiple computers, you must add the supposedly misspelled words on each computer's dictionary.

You can check the spelling of the entire text by clicking on Check Spelling in the Text editor. As spelling errors are found, the following dialog box opens:

Gradually, the misspelled words with suggestions for improvement are displayed in the dialogue box. Select from the options suggested until all words have been corrected.
